
Haddock Pie
Description
The bake is simple and quick to make. For the pie to taste great, carefully remove all bones from the haddock fillet. Follow the recipe and you’re sure to love the pie. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Prepare the dough. In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, salt, and sugar. Leave for 20 minutes.

Melt the margarine and cool to room temperature.

After 20 minutes, add 2 cups of flour and mix the dough lightly.

Pour in the margarine. Mix.

Add the remaining flour. Knead the dough.

The finished dough should be soft, pliable, and not stick to your hands. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it in a warm place for 1 hour 30 minutes to rise.

Prepare the filling. Wash the pollock, remove the fillets from the bones, and cut into small pieces.

Cut the onion into medium pieces and fry until golden brown.

Combine the fish fillet with the onion. Salt it and add black pepper. The filling is ready.

After 1 hour 30 minutes, give the dough another fold and leave it for another 30 minutes in a warm place.

When the time is up, shape the pie. Roll out the dough into a sheet, but leave the edges slightly thicker. Spread the filling, then dot the top with pieces of butter.

Cut the loose edges of the dough into strips. Weave the top of the pie in a criss-cross pattern.

Give the pie the shape of a “fish”.

Transfer the pie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel and leave for 25–30 minutes to rise. Then bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30 minutes. Adjust for your oven’s behaviour.
