
Pie with pickled mushrooms and potatoes
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. Today we’ll make a pie with marinated mushrooms and potatoes. Simple, budget-friendly, but incredibly delicious! You can use any marinated mushrooms, or swap them for fresh ones—honey fungus, champignons, oyster mushrooms, or wild mushrooms. The dough comes together in just a few minutes; no special cooking skills needed. Definitely give it a try—you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the result. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes, and fry in vegetable oil over high heat until a golden crust forms.

Then add sliced onion, salt to taste, pepper, and marinated mushrooms. If the mushrooms are very salty, rinse and squeeze them beforehand.

Sauté everything together, stirring occasionally, for about 3–5 minutes.

While the filling cools, make the dough. To do so, combine the eggs, milk, baking powder, salt, and flour, and whisk everything thoroughly.

Grease the baking dish with butter. Dust the bottom and sides with flour or semolina. Pour in roughly half of the dough and spread all the filling evenly on top.

Pour the remaining dough over the filling, sprinkle the top with sesame seeds, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40–45 minutes.
