Pie with canned pears

60 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Of course, canned fruits aren't as healthy as fresh ones, but sometimes they are simply indispensable—they don't need to be washed, peeled, or pre-cooked before adding to homemade baked goods. In short, a great option for busy homemakers ;) Even the most diligent cooks occasionally find themselves in situations where guests are about to arrive, and there's nothing ready to serve. This canned pear pie recipe is exactly the kind of recipe that saves the day! Sharing with you. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Break the eggs into a large deep bowl. Add sugar.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Beat with a mixer or blender at high speed until the egg-sugar mixture turns into a fluffy white mass—this will take about 7–10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Set aside the mixer — you won't need it anymore. Sift flour and vanilla sugar into the bowl, then gently mix in to form a soft, thick batter, taking care not to disturb the airy texture of the eggs whipped with sugar.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Grease the baking dish with oil.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Place part of the pears on the bottom, pour over the batter, arrange the remaining pears on top, and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for about 30-40 minutes. As always, check for doneness with a toothpick.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Let the finished cake rest in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove, cut into portions, and dust with powdered sugar—sifted through a sieve to avoid lumps. Even tastier—drizzle the cake pieces with custard cream, which can be done right on the plates. That's it. ;)
