Pie with canned mackerel
Description
The pie is very simple to prepare. The dough is fluffy and delicious, made with kefir. For the filling, I suggest using canned mackerel, boiled rice, and sautéed onions with garlic. The pie can be baked in the oven or cooked in a multicooker. Let's get started. It can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
First, put the rice to boil in a small saucepan for 2-3 minutes less than usual.
- 2
Step 2
Peel the onion and sauté until translucent or golden brown.
- 3
Step 3
Place the fish in a deep bowl and mash it with a fork together with the butter.
- 4
Step 4
Add the fried onion and boiled rice. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well. Optionally, you can add green onion or dill, for example.
- 5
Step 5
When the filling is ready, you can proceed to the dough. Beat the eggs with sugar and salt.
- 6
Step 6
Add baking soda, flour, kefir, and melted butter. Knead the dough. In the recipe for the pie with canned mackerel, the dough should not be stiff, but rather very thick.
- 7
Step 7
Grease the bottom of the multicooker bowl or baking dish with oil and dust with flour.
- 8
Step 8
Place half of the dough, then add the filling. Next, spread the second half of the dough and smooth it with a spoon to create a smooth surface.
- 9
Step 9
In a multicooker, bake the cake with canned mackerel for 1 hour using the "Baking" mode, or in the oven until a golden crust forms.
- 10
Step 10
Let the pie cool slightly before serving, then cut it into portion pieces.
