Pour the flour into a deep bowl. Add the yeast and sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Add warm water, vegetable oil, and a pinch of salt.

Step 4

Mix everything until smooth. The dough should be about as thick as pancake batter. Cover it with a towel and let it rise in a warm place.

Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds.
- 6
Step 6

Boil the potatoes in boiling salted water for three minutes.

Step 7

Cut the onion into feather-like slices or half‑rings and sauté until soft.

Step 9

Place the prepared potatoes, salt, and pepper on the dough, and add to taste.
- 10
Step 10

Cover the potatoes with onions.

- 12
Step 12

The pie should be nicely browned. Let it cool directly in the pan, covering it with a towel.
- 13
Step 13

Potato and onion pie is ready.
