Simple cabbage pie
Description
I make pie dough based on sour cream or kefir. Cabbage should be sautéed slightly until soft, then mixed with the remaining filling ingredients. You can add meat, sausage, or make a purely vegetable filling for the pie. Serve it only after it has cooled down—either cold or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Shred the cabbage finely. Peel the onion and cut into small pieces. Heat a frying pan with butter, add the onion first, then the cabbage, season with salt and pepper to taste, and sauté until tender.

Step 2
Boil 2 eggs hard, peel them, then chop finely. Add them to the cooled vegetable mixture, then beat in one raw egg and mix well.

Step 3
In another bowl, mix the remaining eggs with sour cream, mayonnaise, flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 4
Line the baking pan with parchment paper, pour in half of the prepared batter, then spread the filling evenly and pour the remaining batter on top.

Step 5
Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Let it cool for 15-30 minutes before serving.
