
Millet Pie
Description
The baking is prepared simply and quickly. I would describe the taste of this cake as airy! It really melts in the mouth! Serve this cake deliciously with tea or milk. Of course, if you suddenly don’t have irga, you can easily replace it with similar berries: blueberries or bilberries Serve it cooled or slightly warm.

1. Separate the whites from the yolks.

2. Beat the yolks with half of the sugar until pale.

3. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form.

4. Combine the two mixtures. Add the flour and the remaining ingredients, except for the berries.

5. Mix well.

6. Pour the batter into a heat‑proof pan greased with butter.

7. Wash the irga, pat it dry.

8. Place it on top of the dough.

9. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 40 minutes.
