
Rustic Pie with Blueberries and Peaches
Description
The pastry is easy and quick to make. Rustic blueberry and peach pie is another fairly simple but very tasty pie whose recipe is worth keeping in mind. The main thing is that the peaches should be as fresh and flavorful as possible—then the pie will turn out great. Rustic blueberry and peach pie goes well with tea and coffee, and it’s also nice with milk. Try making it when you get the chance—you’re sure to enjoy it! :)

Into a large bowl, sift the flour and mix with the salt and sugar.

Mix thoroughly with a mixer.

In a small bowl, mix the egg yolk with the milk.

Lightly beat with a fork or a whisk.

Add cubed butter to the flour.

Rub the flour and butter together until the mixture resembles fine crumbs.

Then add the egg-milk mixture to the batter.

Mix everything together thoroughly once more.

Roll the resulting dough into a ball.

Roll the ball into a flat disk, wrap it in a plastic bag, and refrigerate for half an hour.

Meanwhile, let’s prepare the filling. To do this, place blueberries, peach slices cut into wedges, sugar, a little flour and salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl.

Mix well — and the filling is ready.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator, place it on a floured surface, and roll it into a circle about 30 cm in diameter.

Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
