Broccoli and Cheese Pie
Description
Sometimes I make a broccoli and cheese custard pie—it turns out very tasty and tender, but still nothing compares to the pie I'm sharing with you today. My version. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the broccoli for 5-7 minutes until tender and chop finely with a knife.
- 2
Step 2

For the cream, break the eggs into the milk and whisk well with a whisk.
- 3
Step 3

Add salt and flour, mix well to avoid lumps, place over low heat and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly and continuously, for 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- 4
Step 4

Slightly thaw the puff yeast dough in advance so that it can be rolled out thinly. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface. Place the dough into a baking pan, forming edges about 1-1.5 cm high.
- 5
Step 5

Place the broccoli.
- 6
Step 6

Spread the prepared cream evenly on top.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle with hard cheese grated on a coarse grater.
- 8
Step 8

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15–20 minutes. All the ingredients in the pie are already cooked; they just need to come together as one, and 15 minutes will be enough for that!

Step 9

Ready. Serve at the table.
