Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use both ripe and overripe bananas. If you like caramel with butter, add it to the pan with the sugar first of all.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken eggs into the bowl of a stand mixer or food processor, add 100 grams of granulated sugar and salt. Beat for about 4–5 minutes until light and fluffy.
- 3
Step 3

Pour in kefir of any fat content and mix. Add baking powder and wheat flour, and gently fold them into the batter.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the remaining granulated sugar into a skillet with high sides. You can also add butter at this point.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise. Place the banana halves onto the granulated sugar.
- 6
Step 6

Grease the sides with vegetable oil and pour the batter over the bananas.
- 7
Step 7

Cover the pan with a lid and place the dish on the stove, turning the heat to the lowest setting. Bake the pie for about 25 minutes—the banana aroma will tell you when it’s done! The pie should be porous and baked through.
- 8
Step 8

Use a silicone spatula to loosen the edges of the pie from the sides of the pan and turn it out onto a wide plate. Spoon the caramel left in the pan over the pie, cut the pie into slices, and serve.
