Pie with bananas and kiwi
Description
The baked goods are straightforward and quick to prepare. For the pie, choose fruit with firm flesh. It is important that the pieces hold their shape well when sliced. It is equally important to use a baking pan with a wide bottom so that the sliced fruit fits with minimal overlap. The pie is easy and fast to make, and it will bail you out when you need something baked for tea at short notice.

When the time is up, check the pie for doneness with a wooden skewer. It should come out dry. Take the finished pie out of the oven and leave it in the tin for about 15 minutes.
