Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To prepare the dough, we will need margarine or butter. Take it out of the refrigerator in advance and let it soften.
- 2
Step 2

In a bowl, where we will prepare the dough, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- 3
Step 3

Add the softened margarine to the resulting mixture and, using a fork or your hands, rub and knead everything into crumbs.
- 4
Step 4

Mix the sour cream with 4 tablespoons of sugar.
- 5
Step 5

Add the sour cream to the crumb mixture of flour and margarine, carefully knead the dough.
- 6
Step 6

The dough should be soft and pleasant, not sticking to hands. Add a little flour if necessary. Cut off about a quarter of the dough and put it in the freezer for 15–20 minutes. Place the remaining dough in the refrigerator.
- 7
Step 7

Now let's prepare the orange filling. Soak the oranges in hot water for 3-4 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Dry the oranges after soaking and cut them into slices. Remove any seeds if present.
- 9
Step 9

Grind the oranges with the peel through a meat grinder.
- 10
Step 10

Add sugar and starch to the resulting orange mixture.
- 11
Step 11

And thoroughly mix everything. The filling is ready!
- 12
Step 12

Grease the baking pan with margarine or butter. You can place a sheet of parchment paper, cut to the size of the pan, on the bottom. There's no need to grease the parchment paper.
- 13
Step 13

Take the chilled dough out of the refrigerator, roll it out to the size of the pan. Place it into the pan, forming edges.
- 14
Step 14

Now place the orange filling onto the layer of dough and spread it evenly.
- 15
Step 15

And on top of the filling, grate the dough that you take out of the freezer using a coarse grater.
- 16
Step 16

Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes. The pie should turn out golden brown and beautiful like this.
- 17
Step 17

Remove the baked pie from the oven, but do not take it out of the pan immediately. Let the pie cool down, then carefully remove it from the pan and transfer it to a serving dish.
