Description

Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This orange cake, prepared in a multicooker, can optionally be enhanced with lemons or lemon zest. Nuts go wonderfully well with the fruit in this cake; they can be added whole or chopped into crumbs. Serve with tea or coffee.

    2. When the eggs turn into a homogeneous mixture, gradually add the sugar. The amount of sugar depends both on your taste preferences and on the sweetness of the orange. If desired, you can add a little vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanilla.

    3. The sugar has dissolved slightly, so you can add part of the flour, continuing to whisk to prevent lumps from forming.

    4. You can set the dough aside for a while and deal with the oranges. Wash them thoroughly (you can pour boiling water over them if desired) and dry. Grate about 1 teaspoon of zest.

    5. Peel the oranges and cut them into small pieces. To make the orange cake in the multicooker more tender, you can remove the white membranes.

    7. Knead the dough thoroughly and add more flour if necessary.

    8. Grease the inner pot of the multicooker with butter and pour in the batter. Set to Bake mode for 60-80 minutes (depending on the multicooker's power, it may require more or less time). Let the cake cool after baking, then cut into portion-sized pieces.
