Fish pie with mackerel
Description
Delicious baked dish for the whole family. As is known, foods lose their beneficial nutrients during heat treatment, but mackerel is different. When cooked, the concentration of these beneficial substances does not decrease but, on the contrary, increases. This nutritious fish pie with mackerel can be prepared daily and even served to unexpected guests, as it is relatively quick to make.

Step 1

1. The base of this pie, of course, is mackerel. You can use a similar canned fish, for example, sardine or sardinella.

Step 2

2. The dough is just as easy to prepare. According to the classic recipe, mayonnaise is included in the dough, but it can be replaced with full-fat kefir. Add 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda to the base and wait until it stops fizzing.

Step 3

3. Add 2 eggs to the dough and mix the mixture thoroughly. You can use a mixer and beat the dough at medium speed.

Step 6

6. Evenly spread the fish over our dough.

7. Slice the onion and potato into rings separately. The potato should be sliced 2-3 mm thick.

Step 8

8. The second layer on top of the fish is potatoes, then onions on top. Spread everything with mayonnaise. Sometimes I add cheese to get a crispy crust after baking, but this is optional and up to your preference.
