Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Take the margarine out of the refrigerator in advance so it's not too cold. Cut it into small cubes and place it in a deep bowl together with the flour. Use your hands to rub the mixture until it turns into a uniform crumbly texture.
- 2
Step 2

2. Crack the eggs into a separate bowl and add sugar. Beat the mixture until it turns white.
- 3
Step 3

3. Add a little sour cream and a pinch of baking soda (previously extinguished). You can also use natural yogurt in the recipe for a pie made with margarine and jam.
- 4
Step 4

4. Combine both masses and knead into a uniform dough. Add more flour if necessary so the dough does not stick to hands.
- 5
Step 5

5. Divide the finished dough into two parts of different sizes. Put the smaller one in the freezer immediately so that it freezes slightly.
- 6
Step 6

6. Spread the second part into a greased heat-resistant baking dish or one lined with parchment paper. Place any available jam on top, preferably a thicker one.
- 7
Step 7

7. A small piece of dough should be grated on a grater, holding it in your hand directly above the mold.
- 8
Step 8

8. The crumb topping should completely cover the jam. The dish can be placed in the oven, preheated, for about 20 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

9. It is important to ensure that the jam-filled margarine pie browns nicely but does not start to burn. Once ready, carefully remove it from the pan and let it cool.
