Jam-filled yeast pie
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Here is a simple recipe for a yeast pie with jam. First, prepare a no-ferment yeast dough. Since the pie will be open, divide the dough into two parts. Roll out one part into a flat layer and place it into a baking pan, then spread the filling—jam—on top. Divide the second part of the dough into strips or small rolls, and use them to decorate the top of the pie. Bake the pie in the oven for about 30 minutes.

The dough turns out smooth and lump-free. Dust with flour, cover with a towel, and place in a warm spot for 3 hours (deflate a couple of times).

Separate a quarter of the dough.

Step 6

Roll out the larger piece of dough into a thin sheet, about 1 cm thick. Place the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the warm jam on top. Fold the edges of the dough to create borders.
