Pie
Description
Tasty baked goods for the whole family. The “Lakómka” pie is the taste of childhood! Delicate pastry with sweet cream was the height of perfection. I always wondered how Mom makes such a delicious pie. Now I bake this pie for my little son and see the same delight in his eyes. He happily eats a piece and asks for seconds. The best compliment in the world! I’m sharing the recipe. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Mix 3 eggs with 100 grams of sugar, add yeast, water and mix everything well. Add 180 grams of melted butter.
- 2
Step 2

Add the flour and mix everything until homogeneous. The dough should turn out like thick sour cream.
- 3
Step 3

Cover the bowl with dough with a towel and place it in a warm spot. The dough should rise two to three times.
- 4
Step 4

When the dough has risen, pour it into a baking pan and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Place the dough in a preheated oven at 160 °C for 40–50 minutes. Check doneness with a wooden skewer; if it’s dry, the pie is ready.
- 6
Step 6

Let the finished crust cool and cut it into two halves.
- 7
Step 7

While the crust cools, prepare the cream. Mix milk, sugar and butter in a saucepan, place over low heat and bring to a boil, add vanilla sugar. Immediately remove from the heat and set to cool.
- 8
Step 8

Beat the butter until fluffy, add it to the pastry cream in small portions. Spread the cooled cake layer with the cream.
- 9
Step 9

Cover the pie with the second half and place it in the refrigerator to set, preferably for a whole night.
