Step 3

3. Add salt and vanillin as well. Beat everything thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4

4. Gradually add the flour, kneading the dough.

Step 5

5. When the dough becomes firm, you can start kneading it by hand. It should turn out soft and elastic.
- 6
Step 6

6. Place two-thirds of the dough onto a baking sheet (you can line it with parchment paper if desired) and smooth it out. The dough is easy to work with, and you don't even need to roll it out.
- 7
Step 7

7. Put the remaining dough in the freezer for a while, wrapped in plastic wrap or a plastic bag. Meanwhile, spread the jam in a thin layer on top.
- 8
Step 8

8. Slightly frozen dough can be grated on a grater to make a real homemade "Crumb" pie with jam.
- 9
Step 9

9. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the pie until done. This will take about 20 minutes. After baking, let the pie cool down, then cut it into portion-sized pieces.
