Perfect for serving with tea and coffee. Pumpkin is a sunny vegetable. It has a beautiful, rich orange color, delicate aroma, and pleasant taste. Pumpkin is one of the most nutritious vegetables, containing B vitamins, fats, proteins, calcium, and more. So let's bake a pie with it. The pastry is ready. Serve it at the table.

1. Place the pumpkin puree in a bowl, add 3 egg yolks, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and yellow food coloring (1 gram).

2. Place the egg whites (3 pieces) in a bowl and beat until bubbles appear, then add a little sugar and beat until soft peaks form.

3. After the egg whites, proceed with the mixture containing the yolks, beat for a couple of minutes, then gradually add the sifted flour in several batches, mixing each time, and add nutmeg or other spices.

4. Gradually add the beaten egg whites to the batter, folding gently from the bottom up to maintain the airy consistency of the whites.

5. Line a baking pan with parchment paper, pour the batter into it, spread it out, and place in the oven.

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 1 hour, checking doneness with a wooden skewer.

7. For the meringue: beat the egg white with sugar until stiff peaks form.

8. Decorate the cooled pie using a piping bag or spoon, then torch the meringue on top with a kitchen torch.
