
Apple pie made with pastry dough
Description
Since I'm a fan of fruit fillings, I settled on this version. You can also find out about it. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

First, prepare the starter. Add yeast, one teaspoon of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of flour to a glass of warm milk. Mix thoroughly. Let the starter sit for 15 minutes.

In another bowl, mix 2 eggs with milk, salt, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and melted margarine.

Gradually add flour to the milk and add the starter, kneading the dough.

Roll the dough into a ball, knead it, and transfer it to a large pot.

Place the dough in the oven for an hour at 30 degrees.

Then knead the dough again and place it back in the oven for 1 hour.

First, prepare the filling. Mix the cranberries with apples cut into small cubes. Add sugar and starch. Stir well.

Roll out 3/4 of the dough on a greased baking sheet.

Place the filling on top, and use the remaining dough to decorate the pie as you wish.

Brush the top of the dough with a mixture of beaten egg and sour cream.

Place the pie in the oven for 20 minutes at 100 degrees, then for another 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Let the pastry rest for about 10 minutes.
