Lavash pie with fish
Description
Homemade pastry for tea. Preparing a fish lavash pie at home is very easy! You can use thin Armenian lavash instead of lasagna sheets, which is readily available in stores. The pie should be filled with fish, cheese, and a sauté of onions and carrots. Also, use any fish sauce or regular mayonnaise. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. If you don't have lasagna sheets, it's no problem—lavash can easily replace them. The baking dish for this pie should have high sides. So, cut the lavash to fit the size of the dish (it's better to use a small dish). Basically, they should be rectangles (like lasagna sheets).

Step 2

2. Cut the fish fillet into pieces. I usually use fillet of sea fish. Even sole will work. To taste, the fillet can be marinated in lemon juice or any fish sauce.

Step 3

3. The first layer of lavash should be placed into the mold. It's better not to cut the first layer, but to use it as a base. After spreading it with sauce, you can start adding the filling.

Step 4

4. The filling should be layered alternately with lavash (similar to lasagna). After the fish, add cheese and a sheet of lavash, then the remaining filling and another layer of lavash.

Step 5

5. Place the onion and carrots on top, then cover again with a sheet of lavash.

Step 6

6. Sprinkle with cheese and cover again with a sheet of lavash.

Step 7

7. Place the pie in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serve the lavash pie with fish either hot or cold.
