Lavash meat pie
Description
You can make lavash pie sweet or with meat, vegetable, or cheese filling. This pie is an excellent alternative to the traditional dough-based one. Moreover, it's much quicker to prepare since there's no need to thaw or knead dough. You can use meat or ready-made minced meat for the filling, but I prefer to mince it myself. Serve with tea or coffee.

Step 1

1. I wash the meat and cut it into small pieces, peel the onion and cut it into wedges. I pass the meat and onion through a meat grinder.

Step 2

2. Pass the parsley through a meat grinder, then mix the meat, onion, and parsley in a bowl; season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

3. I lay the lavash on the table, divide it into 2 parts, and spread the prepared meat filling in a thin layer.

Step 4

4. I leave the lavash unfolded for 15 minutes, then roll it up into a log (lengthwise).

Step 5

5. I grease the pan with oil, place the lavash in the center, and roll it up into a spiral.

Step 6

6. I spread the filling on the second lavash and, just like the first one, roll it into a log, then wrap it around the first one.

Step 7

7. I crack an egg into a bowl, add sour cream and beat with a fork, then mix in some chopped herbs.

8. I pour the resulting mixture over the lavash in the pan and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 9

9. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Serve cooled.
