Lavash pie with onions
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To make it a bit more economical, I often use more onion and less cheese. Or I add other ingredients: grated zucchini, carrots... In short, this recipe allows for experimentation, which is why I love it so much. The baked dish is ready. Serve it at the table.

Step 1

1. Prepare the ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix the onion sautéed until translucent, grated cheese, and herbs. In another bowl, beat together kefir, eggs, and spices. Tear two-thirds of the lavash into pieces and place them into the liquid mixture.

Step 2

2. Place the whole lavash sheet in the pan, leaving the edges hanging over the sides — we will fold them over later. Add a portion of the "wet lavash," then the cheese-onion filling.

Step 3

3. Alternate the filling layers until the ingredients run out. Then fold the edges of the lavash inward and generously brush with the egg-kefir mixture. If there is no mixture left, you can use sour cream or mayonnaise instead.

Step 4

4. Bake for about half an hour in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
