Lavash pie with minced meat
Description
To make a lavash pie with minced meat, we need two large lavash sheets. You can use any minced meat you like. You can also add your favorite vegetables and mushrooms to the filling, for example. Check out the recipe. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, peel the onion, chop it finely, and sauté in a pan until soft and golden.
- 2
Step 2

If necessary, thaw the ground meat and add it to the onion. Fry them together until the meat turns a darker color.
- 3
Step 3

While the meat is frying, chop the garlic and peppers.
- 4
Step 4

In a separate container, beat the eggs with a few tablespoons of sour cream. Add salt and pepper. The consistency of the mixture should be like milk. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- 5
Step 5

Season the prepared minced meat with salt and pepper. Add the previously prepared garlic and chili pepper. Also add a few spoons of sauce—be careful here, as it's easy to overdo it. Sauté everything for a few minutes until the liquid has evaporated and the garlic has softened.
- 6
Step 6

Place the meat filling into a blender and grind until completely smooth. The result should be a soft and tender meat filling.
- 7
Step 7

Now, finally, let's start assembling the pie. Lay the lavash flat on the table. Spread sour cream over its surface and sprinkle with cheese. Place half of the filling on top. Evenly distribute the meat mixture over the lavash. Do not make the filling layer too thin or, conversely, too thick. It should be just right.
- 8
Step 8

We do the same with the second lavash. Now roll up the lavash rolls with the filling. Place them into a greased baking dish, coiled like a snail. Pour the previously prepared sour cream-egg mixture over the lavash rolls.
- 9
Step 9

Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25–30 minutes. In any case, keep an eye on it, as ovens may vary.
