Pie from jelly
Description
Homemade treats for tea. This simple cake recipe using jelly mix is my go-to solution. It's quick to make, requires minimal ingredients, yet brings endless delight. I hope you'll love this recipe and it helps you out more than once. Bake it and serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

If the jelly is in a block, it needs to be thoroughly crumbled. Add flour to it and mix well.
- 2
Step 2

Slightly beat the eggs and add them to the flour and jelly.
- 3
Step 3

Extinguish the soda with vinegar or lemon juice. Add it to the other ingredients and mix the dough. It should be approximately this consistency—slightly thinner than store-bought sour cream :)
- 4
Step 4

Pour the batter into a mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Check for doneness with a dry wooden skewer.
- 5
Step 5

Here's the nice golden pastry we've got. Place it on a plate, slice it, and enjoy :)

Step 6

The pie can be spread with sweetened condensed milk, or, if you don't like very sweet things, with slightly tart jam.
