
Blueberry Pie
Description
This pie is a classic. It will surely delight your family members. Blueberry pie pairs perfectly with tea and coffee, and can occasionally be enjoyed as a treat for breakfast. The taste is pleasantly sweet and sour, not overly sweet. If desired, you can add vanilla instead of cinnamon :) Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the dough. To do this, mix sugar with salt and flour, thoroughly combine everything until the mixture becomes uniform.

Now cut the softened butter into cubes and rub it with your hands into the dry ingredients. Add the sour cream and mix everything thoroughly.

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface, knead it, shape into a ball, and place it in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes. After that, take the dough out, divide it into two parts, and roll each part into a flat sheet. Place one sheet onto the baking pan.

In a separate bowl, mix sugar, flour, and cinnamon, then add blueberries. Place the filling onto the dough and pour lemon juice over it. Cover with the second layer of dough, making cuts in it. Brush with a mixture of egg and milk, and bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 20 minutes.

When the pie turns golden brown, it will be ready. Once you remove the pie from the oven, let it rest for 2 hours. The blueberry pie is ready.
