
Pear pie with walnuts
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. The combination of pears and walnuts turned out to be extraordinarily harmonious, so I do not recommend changing anything in the recipe. Of course, it’s best to use pears that are moderately ripe, so there isn’t too much juice or loose pulp. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Beat the softened butter with the sugar. Then add the eggs one at a time, beating each time.

Mix the flour with salt and baking powder. Sift. Gradually add to the butter mixture.

Add the milk last. And whisk everything until you achieve a smooth, silky batter.

Wash the pears, remove the core. Set aside half a pear for decorating the cake. Cut the rest into small pieces. Break the nuts into pieces and gently fold them into the dough.

Grease a 20–22 cm baking pan with vegetable oil and lightly dust it with flour or breadcrumbs. Place the dough in the pan.

Slice the set-aside half of the pear into thin wedges and place them on top of the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C for 55–60 minutes.

Our pie is ready. Let it cool completely, remove it from the pan, dust with powdered sugar and serve at the table!
