Yeast dough pie
Description
The pastry is straightforward and doesn’t take long to make in terms of hands-on work. This “Flower” pie from yeast dough is easy to put together. But as with any yeast bake, plan on about two and a half to three hours in total—that’s normal. Your effort will come back as thanks from family and friends. If you prefer dry yeast, use 7–8 g. This soft, fragrant pie goes beautifully with tea or coffee on weekdays and holidays. Serve it cooled or lightly warm.
