Pie
Description
The key to making buns and pies lies in delicious, fluffy dough. That's why I recommend using yeast dough—it rises well during baking, becomes airy, and turns out light as a feather. The most important thing when preparing yeast-based baked goods is to ensure all ingredients are warm; only then will the yeast activate and fill the dough with air. You can shape the buns however you like, but be sure to try making a "rose" pie—it looks stunning. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Mix warm milk with yeast and one tablespoon of sugar. Stir well and let it sit in a warm place for 10 minutes. Pour the starter into a bowl, add sifted flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg.

Step 2

2. Mix the dough well. When the dough comes together into a ball, add the soft butter. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.

Step 3

3. Transfer the dough to a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with a lid, and let rise in a warm place for 1.5–2 hours. Knead the dough slightly, roll it out into a 5 mm thick sheet, and cut out circles 8 cm in diameter.

Step 4

4. Place three circles so that they slightly overlap each other. Roll the circles into a log and cut the strip in half—this will give you two little roses. Line the baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 5

5. Place the rolls into a mold (20-24 cm in diameter). Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for 45 minutes. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Step 6

6. Sprinkle the slightly cooled buns with powdered sugar.
