Cottage cheese pie-vatrushka
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. There are many recipes for cottage cheese pastries, but none can surpass the Royal Vatrushka. This pie is made on a streusel base (a dough of butter and flour), in other words, crumbly mixture of flour and butter. A cottage cheese filling is placed in the center, then covered with another layer of streusel. Let it cool slightly or serve warm.
