
Turkish pilaf
Description
Cooking Turkish-style pilaf is very easy! This dish, commonly found in any Turkish café, can be easily recreated at home. You can serve pilaf either as a side dish or on its own with fresh vegetables. Quick, budget-friendly, filling, and delicious! Give it a try.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Melt a piece of butter.

Add the noodles.

And, stirring, fry it until golden brown.

Add the washed rice.

Mix and heat everything together for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour water over the rice just enough to cover it (be careful not to add too much, otherwise the rice won't turn out right). Cook until the water has completely evaporated. Season with salt to taste.

Mix, check that there is no moisture left, add salt if needed. The rice should be slightly firm, but edible. It's ready! If it's too hard, add a little water and cook a bit longer.
