Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients for making pizza in a cheburek.
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve the sugar and salt in warm water.
- 3
Step 3

Add half of the flour portion and mix the dough thoroughly so there are no lumps.
- 4
Step 4

Pour 50 grams of hot, boiling vegetable oil into the dough and scald the flour mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Then add all the remaining flour.
- 6
Step 6

Knead a soft, elastic dough for chebureki and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

For the filling, dice the onion and sausage into small cubes. The sausage can be either boiled or smoked.
- 8
Step 8

Also dice the tomatoes. Grate the hard cheese on a grater.
- 9
Step 9

Place all chopped ingredients in a suitable bowl, add mayonnaise and ketchup, mix well—the cheburek filling is ready.
- 10
Step 10

Divide the rested dough into equal portions and roll each one out thinly into a round shape. Spread the filling on one half of each piece — 1–2 tbsp.
- 11
Step 11

Cover the filling with the free edge of the dough and pinch all the edges together carefully. You can also run a special decorative wheel along the edge.
- 12
Step 12

Pour a generous amount of vegetable oil into the frying pan, heat it well, then place the chebureks in one by one and fry them on both sides. Chebureks fry quickly — about 1 minute per side, or even less. Watch carefully to make sure nothing burns.
- 13
Step 13

Serve golden crispy chebureki at the table.
- 14
Step 14

Enjoy your meal!
