Pizza with boiled chicken
Description
This recipe won't take much time. My friend's version of boiled chicken pizza includes carrots and bell peppers. The result is very colorful and delicious. I'm sure my friend didn't invent this topping combination himself, though I won't argue with him about it. While traveling through Italy, I've seen something similar on menus more than once. We'll start preparing the boiled chicken pizza with the dough. The dough is made with warm milk—it's very tasty and a common recipe in Italy. We'll also add a bit of Parmesan. 1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and eggs. Whisk well with a whisk or fork. 2. Sift the flour. Gradually add the egg-milk mixture into the sifted flour. Knead the dough. 3. Shape the dough into a ball. Place it in a bowl greased with olive oil, cover with a towel, and set aside for fifteen minutes. 4. Now prepare the filling. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces—this way it will cook faster. It will take about fifteen minutes, just enough time for the dough to rest. 5. Peel the carrot and cut it into small cubes. 6. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into small pieces, similar in size to the carrot cubes. 7. In a bowl, mix the boiled chicken and vegetables. Season with salt to taste. 8. Roll out the dough into an even circle. Place it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 9. Spread tomato purée over the dough. Ketchup or tomato sauce will work as well. 10. Add the filling, spreading it evenly across the entire surface of the pizza. Place tomato slices, cut into half-rings, on top of the filling. 11. Grate Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses and sprinkle them evenly over the pizza. 12. Bake in the oven for twenty minutes. 13. Garnish the finished pizza with fresh basil. And here it is—your boiled chicken pizza is ready.
