Pizza with pumpkin, pear, and gorgonzola
Description
I strongly recommend not being afraid to experiment and making pizza with pumpkin, pear, and Gorgonzola following the recipe I describe. Of course I understand that the dish is somewhat unusual and non-standard (not pizza with sausage and cheese, I agree), but that doesn’t mean it’s bad, right? The ingredients are also quite affordable and inexpensive, so it’s worth a try. In my opinion, the combination of ingredients works very well, and the pizza is therefore wonderful. I hope you enjoy the recipe. Good luck with the cooking! :) Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

We begin traditionally — with the dough. To prepare the dough, mix the flour, salt, yeast, warm water (about 230 ml) and olive oil. Knead until elastic, then place in a warm spot under a towel for about 40 minutes. After that, knead the dough once more and leave it again for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, let’s make the filling. Dice the pumpkin and sauté it in oil until tender.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the pear into wedges, the cheese into cubes.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the risen dough in half and roll it into two oval flatbreads. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet dusted with flour.
- 5
Step 5

Lightly brush our flatbreads with olive oil.
- 6
Step 6

Arrange the pear slices on the flatbreads.
- 7
Step 7

Then spread the cheese and pumpkin on the flatbreads and sprinkle sage or rosemary on top. Put in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes at 200°C.

Step 8

Done! Slice and serve hot, as it should be :).
