
Pizza with tomatoes and basil
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This recipe yields a rectangular pizza measuring approximately 32x45 cm. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add water and stir with a spoon for several minutes.

2. Cover the dough and let it rise at room temperature for about 2 hours.

3. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and cut it in half. Use both portions, or refrigerate one for up to 1 day (after wrapping it first).

4. Generously brush a 32x45 cm baking sheet with olive oil. Place the dough onto the baking sheet and stretch it to the edges. If it shrinks back, wait five minutes, then continue. The dough should be very thin.

5. Preheat the oven to 260 degrees. Using a blender or food processor, mix together the tomatoes, olive oil, and salt. The mixture will be quite liquid.

6. Evenly spread the tomato sauce over the entire dough. Make sure the sauce does not accumulate in the center of the pizza.

7. Sprinkle with a few pinches of red pepper flakes, add finely chopped basil and slices of mozzarella.

8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are slightly charred. Sprinkle with additional basil and Parmesan cheese. Serve hot or at room temperature.
