Pizza with red fish
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. Everyone knows that the key to pizza is the dough. So let me share the recipe for the perfect dough right away: mix soft flour with coarse flour, add dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Use regular tap water for the dough—warm it to room temperature (or slightly warmer, about 35°C, for example). Beat the egg with olive oil, add the warm water, then pour this mixture into the flour and knead the dough. Remember, the dough should be soft and not sticky to your hands. Set it aside to rise for about 45 minutes. In general, for making salmon pizza, you can use any kind of salmon; this time I used Atlantic salmon. One more tip—marinate the onion in wine vinegar for about half an hour. It's not mandatory, but it makes the flavor richer and enhances the taste of the fish. See the recipe below. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the filling.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the fish into pieces and remove all the bones. Halve the cherry tomatoes and remove their seeds. Marinate the onion or simply slice it into half-rings. Chop the herbs and grate the cheese. Prepare a paste (instead of plain tomato paste) using one large tomato, pepper, garlic, and spices: blanch the tomato, remove the skin, chop the pepper, and blend the vegetables together with garlic in a blender until smooth. Simmer the resulting purée in a pan with olive oil and spices until thickened. Let the sauce cool down.

Step 3

By this time, our dough has already risen; knead it once again, roll it into a flat round shape, place it in a baking dish, and form the edges. Generously brush with sauce.

Step 4

Place the onion on top. If you decided to marinate it after all, rinse it beforehand.
- 5
Step 5

Then we lay out the fish.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle with herbs and spices to taste.
- 7
Step 7

Evenly arrange the cherry tomatoes.
- 8
Step 8

And sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the pizza in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.

Step 9

The finished salmon pizza turns out fragrant and very tasty. You can add some more cheese before serving—and cut into portion pieces.
