Pizza with pears and spicy smoked ham
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Place the garlic in a small square of aluminum foil. Drizzle the garlic with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Wrap the foil around the garlic. Roast the garlic in the preheated oven until soft, about 20 minutes. Mash with a fork. Place pears in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with pepper. Spread pear slices onto a baking sheet. Roast in the hot oven until tender, 10–15 minutes. Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Warm a baking sheet in the oven. Lightly flour a flat surface. Roll out the prepared dough. Sprinkle the baking sheet with cornmeal. Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the garlic puree over the dough; sprinkle Swiss cheese on top. Arrange pears, spicy smoked ham, and mozzarella cheese on the pizza. Season with salt and pepper. Brush the edges of the crust with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown, 15–20 minutes. Serve with tea or coffee.
