Pizza with Gorgonzola
Description
The pastry is quick and easy to make. If you like, you can add black olives, green olives, or capers to the filling; sun-dried tomatoes also work well. The tomato sauce should not have a strong, punchy flavor—it should not overpower the taste and aroma of the gorgonzola. You can serve it with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Measure the required amount of flour into a deep bowl, add yeast, salt, and sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Pour in warm water and olive oil.
- 4
Step 4

Knead a soft, homogeneous dough. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for about 30–40 minutes to rise.
- 5
Step 5

Knead the risen dough well. Divide it into two equal portions.
- 6
Step 6

If necessary, dust the parchment with flour, roll out the dough thinly, and shape it into a round—you can adjust the thickness to suit your preference.
- 7
Step 7

Spread the base with your favourite tomato sauce, then sprinkle it generously with grated hard cheese that melts well in the oven.
- 8
Step 8

Arrange the sausage slices and sprinkle everything with Gorgonzola cheese broken into small pieces. Put the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 250 degrees for 8 minutes. Place the baking sheet right in the middle of the oven; do not turn on convection.
- 9
Step 9

Cut the finished pizza into portion-sized pieces with a special knife and serve immediately at the table.
