Pizza with white mushrooms and mushrooms
Description
Soak the dried mushrooms beforehand, clean and blanch the fresh ones—there's no need to bother with marinated mushrooms at all. My pizza turned out mushroom-heavy since I had only a small amount of porcini mushrooms. But you can skip the button mushrooms and simply increase the amount of porcini instead. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
To prepare the dough, mix the sifted flour and baking powder in a bowl.
- 2
Step 2
Add water and olive oil.
- 3
Step 3
Place the dough on a floured surface and knead vigorously for 10 minutes. The result should be an elastic dough.
- 4
Step 4
Roll out the dough to the length of the baking tray, half a centimeter thick. Place the dough sheet onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- 5
Step 5
Slice the button mushrooms into thin pieces, and cut the white mushrooms into chunks.
- 6
Step 6
Spread tomato purée or crushed tomatoes over the dough with a spoon. I often use canned tomatoes in their own juice, simply blending them with a mixer or blender. Place the grated cheese on top.
- 7
Step 7
Place sliced mushrooms and pieces of boletus on top of the cheese.
- 8
Step 8
Season the pizza with salt and pepper to taste. It is advisable to use freshly ground black pepper, as it is much more aromatic.
- 9
Step 9
Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 15 minutes.
- 10
Step 10
The pizza with white mushrooms is ready!
