Pan Pizza
Description
I really love pizza, but I really don’t like making it myself—too much hassle, especially with the dough. And if you use store-bought dough, it doesn’t turn out as tasty. About a year ago I found a skillet pizza recipe online. At first I was skeptical—I didn’t believe you could make a more or less edible pizza in 10 minutes, and on a skillet at that. But curiosity got the better of me, and I tried it anyway. And you know what? I liked it! Of course, this pizza turns out a bit unconventional, not like at pizzerias, but if you compare purely on taste, skillet pizza is every bit as good as regular pizza. Caloric, though :) But sometimes you can treat yourself. It can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Mix all the dough ingredients: sour cream, mayonnaise, eggs, and flour. Whisk until smooth and season with salt to taste.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the resulting mixture onto a skillet greased with vegetable oil. Spread the filling on top — in my case that’s sausage and tomatoes, but you can add whatever you like best.
- 3
Step 3

On top, sprinkle very generously with grated cheese. Don’t skimp on the cheese, or the pizza will turn out dry and bland.
- 4
Step 4

Place the pizza over medium heat and cook for about 2–3 minutes (until the dough sets), then cover the pan with a lid and cook until the cheese melts.
- 5
Step 5

As soon as the cheese melts, the pizza is ready.
