Marinara Pizza

Description

Delicious baked treat for the whole family. To make any pizza, you need ready-made yeast dough on hand. Or you can prepare it yourself, as it's actually very simple to make. As a filling, you can add olives, mushrooms, or ham. I've shown the classic Marinara recipe, but your imagination is the limit—feel free to experiment. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

You can buy ready-made dough or prepare the simplest yeast dough for pizza. The same goes for the tomato sauce—make it at home or buy it. Tomato sauce with herbs, basil, garlic, and spices is especially good for pizza.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Let the dough sit at room temperature for at least half an hour. Then roll it out and cut out a circle (to fit your pan, if you're baking in a pan).

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Spread the tomato sauce over the base using a tablespoon, but not all the way to the edges. You can make borders if you like, but I don't. Leaving space around the edges is enough.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Remove the liquid from the mozzarella cheese and cut it into fairly large pieces. Then distribute the cheese evenly over the surface of the pizza, leaving the edges free.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Wash the tomatoes and dry them thoroughly. Then slice them thinly into rings. Place the tomato slices on the pizza, along with washed and dried basil leaves. Sprinkle herbs lightly on top. It's best to use a special pizza seasoning.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Place the pizza in a preheated oven at 220-250°C for about 5 minutes, maximum 8. All ingredients should be cooked through in this time. The main thing is for the dough to form a crust and the cheese to melt.

    Step 7

This is the delicious Marinara pizza I ended up with. Lightly sprinkle it with Parmesan, slice, and serve hot.
