Description

Delicious baked goods for the whole family. I don’t eat store-bought pizza in any form anymore—it gives me heartburn and my stomach hurts all day. Homemade pizza, though, I enjoy from time to time. One of my favorite kinds is California pizza, known by that name in the USA. I’m sharing the secrets of how to make it :) Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

    Mix all the dough ingredients—water, yeast, honey, olive oil, flour, and salt. Stir well and knead until the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.

    While the dough rises, let’s make the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine tomato paste, minced garlic, and spices (I used basil and oregano).

    Put a small saucepan on medium heat and simmer until the mixture has reduced in volume by roughly half.

    Sprinkle the risen dough with olive oil and knead it a little more.

    Roll out the dough on a baking sheet lightly greased with oil.

    Evenly spread the sauce over the dough.

    Then spread our toppings over the pizza — mushrooms, ham, cheese, tomatoes, olives, onion.

    Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C. Serve hot.
