Mushroom pizza
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. For this pizza, you can use any ingredients left in your kitchen: pieces of boiled chicken, any mushrooms—forest or pickled, besides button mushrooms. You can also add pieces of fresh or canned pineapple. For cheese, choose any hard variety. And for a more attractive look and richer flavor, you can drizzle a thin mayonnaise lattice on top of the pizza. Well, see? It's ready to serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 15–20 minutes until bubbles form on the surface.
- 2
Step 2
Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Knead the dough until it is no longer sticky to the touch.
- 3
Step 3
Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise for 40-50 minutes. The dough should triple in size.
- 4
Step 4
To prepare the sauce, cut the tomatoes into cubes, finely chop the onion, garlic, and basil. Heat the skillet and sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.
- 5
Step 5
Combine them with tomatoes and basil, and simmer in a pan until all the liquid has evaporated and the sauce has thickened.
- 6
Step 6
Add salt and sugar. The sauce can be used as is or blended.
- 7
Step 7
Roll out the dough to a thickness of up to 5 mm.
- 8
Step 8
Place the rolled dough onto a floured baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

Brush the prepared sauce onto the dough.

Sprinkle with grated cheese.
- 11
