Yeast pizza
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. To make yeast pizza, you'll need only fresh compressed yeast, specially milled flour (marked as "00"—this is pizza flour), and warm carbonated water. Pizza toppings can be anything you like: from vegetables to meat and seafood. But in this recipe, I'll show you the most popular pizza—the classic base, so to speak, for others—"Margherita." To prepare it, you'll need to make a tomato salsa, which is very easy! Just use ripe tomatoes to ensure the salsa is juicy.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients for the dough.
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve fresh yeast in warm carbonated water, add sugar and olive oil. Stir, then let the yeast mixture rise; this usually takes about 15 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Sift the flour, add salt, make a well in the flour, and pour the yeast starter into it. Knead the dough.
- 4
Step 4

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes light, soft, and does not stick to your hands. Then place it in a large bowl or pot, cover with a towel, and set aside for one to two hours to rise.
- 5
Step 5

The yeast dough has risen, now you can roll it out into a pizza base.
- 6
Step 6

Grease your hands with olive oil, roll out one or two pizza dough rounds to about one centimeter in thickness. Brush the dough rounds with olive oil, and let them rise on the baking sheet for another 15–20 minutes.

Step 7

While the pizza base is rising, prepare the tomato salsa for the most common pizza - "Margarita". Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, then peel them, remove the seeds, pass through a sieve, or better, blend into a puree using a blender. Add salt to taste. Cut the mozzarella into cubes and squeeze out the excess liquid.

Step 8

Evenly spread the tomato salsa on the prepared flatbreads, drizzle a little more olive oil, and place in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for 10 minutes. Then remove the pizza, distribute the mozzarella cubes over the surface, and bake for another 10 minutes. Decorate the finished yeast pizza with basil leaves and a bit of oregano.
