Gluten-free pizza
Description
Tasty baked goods for the whole family. Aromatic pizza is so tempting, especially when it’s fresh out of the oven. But for those who must avoid gluten, you can recommend making this dish using rice flour. The cooking time will take as long as making a regular pizza, but everyone will be satisfied! Keep in mind that rice flour is harder to incorporate into liquid, so be prepared for that. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour kefir into a deep container, add vegetable oil – preferably olive oil, and sprinkle in salt. If desired, you can add ground dried herbs: thyme, rosemary, oregano.
- 3
Step 3

Add the rice flour and the baking powder. Keep in mind that rice flour is difficult to incorporate and dough made from it is harder to prepare than wheat flour.
- 4
Step 4

Knead the dough, thoroughly incorporating the flour. Leave a little flour for rolling out the pizza base.
- 5
Step 5

Rice dough does not need resting for gluten to develop, as it contains no gluten. Therefore, immediately roll out a base to the diameter of the pan. Grease the baking pan with vegetable oil and lay the dough in it. Spread ketchup or mayonnaise on it. At this stage, preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
- 6
Step 6

Grate the hard cheese using a fine-grated grater. Sprinkle half of the cheese mixture onto the base.
- 7
Step 7

Slice the smoked sausage and tomato (optional), and place the slices on the base. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over them. Place the pizza in the oven for 10–12 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Remove the baked pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- 9
Step 9

Then invite family or guests and serve the pizza at the table warm, cutting it into pieces.
