Shawarma Pizza
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. A great idea for a snack or dinner — shawarma pizza! You can take it with you to the outdoors, to a picnic, or grill it on a barbecue. Fry the filling ingredients in advance or marinate them in soy sauce so you can bake them right on the spot and place them on the baked dough base. It can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Grill the chicken fillet in advance. Potatoes and cabbage are not added to pizza, but tomato, cucumber, and bell pepper are fine. The main thing is to add the cucumber only when serving, as well as fresh herbs. Mix ketchup with garlic sauce or garlic mayonnaise.

Step 2

Roll out the laminated yeast dough, cut a circle, form the edges. Spread the prepared sauce over the center of the piece.
- 3
Step 3

Sprinkle the sauce with grated hard cheese of any variety. It's best to grate it on a fine-grated grater — this way the product will melt faster.
- 4
Step 4

Slice the roasted chicken fillet into strips and place it on the prepared base.
- 5
Step 5

Preheat the oven to 200 °C, bake the base for about 15 minutes, keeping an eye on the surface. If it puffs up, pierce it so the filling doesn’t leak over the edges. Remove the hot, finished base from the oven.

Step 6

Rinse the fresh herbs and cucumber. Slice the cucumber into rounds, tear the lettuce leaves and place them on the pizza.
- 7
Step 7

Serve the dish hot at the table.
