Prepare the necessary ingredients. Rinse the rice in cold water beforehand, drain, and soak in clean cold water for 45 minutes.

Place milk, sugar, and cardamom over heat and bring to a boil. Drain the water from the rice, leaving a couple of tablespoons. Blend the rice with a blender until it forms a paste.

Add the resulting paste to the boiling milk and cook until thickened. If lumps remain, blend them with an immersion blender until smooth. Add rose water or honey, mix well, pour into molds, and cool.
