
Green Bean Pkhali

This recipe won’t take much time. Pkhali is a tasty and healthy Georgian pâté-style appetizer, but made not from meat, but from greens and vegetables. Pkhali is made from cabbage, beets, beans, with various herbs and spices added. This recipe explains everything in detail and in an easy-to-follow way. The appetizer is ready. Serve right away.

Boil the beans in lightly salted water for about 10 minutes. Then transfer the pods to a bowl of ice water for a few minutes.

Squeeze the cooled beans and pass them through a meat grinder or blend them in a blender.

Chop the onion and cilantro very, very finely.

Grind the nuts in a blender and add them to the bean puree.
