Shortcrust Pie with Frozen Blueberries
Description
For the pie, I suggest using frozen blueberries. Before placing them on the dough, they should not be thawed. It is enough that the berries separate individually. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the butter into pieces, add it to the bowl. Rub it with your hands into crumbs.
- 4
Step 4

Add sour cream and the egg to the butter-flour crumbs. Knead the dough.
- 5
Step 5

The finished dough should be soft, pliable, and not stick to your hands. Take a 26 cm diameter baking pan. Grease it with a thin layer of oil. Spread the prepared dough in it. Form the edges. Prick the bottom frequently with a fork. Put the pan with the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Prepare the filling. In a bowl, combine the eggs, sour cream, sugar, and starch.
- 7
Step 7

Mix the ingredients well so there are no lumps. The topping is ready.
- 8
Step 8

In a separate bowl, combine the blueberries with the starch. Gently stir.
- 9
Step 9

After the time has elapsed, remove the pan with the dough from the refrigerator. Place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 7 minutes. Then take it out of the oven and spread the blueberries coated in starch over the dough.
- 10
Step 10

Pour the filling over the berries. Spread it evenly. Place the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 35 minutes. Take your oven’s characteristics into account.
- 11
Step 11

After the specified time, remove the finished pie. Leave it to cool in the pan.
- 12
Step 12

When the pie has cooled well, serve it at the table.
