Closed shortcrust pastry baskets with berries
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. During blueberry season, I often make these little baskets. They turn out incredibly juicy and delicious. It's almost surprising how simple the recipe is to prepare, yet the result exceeds all expectations. The baked goods are ready. Serve them at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

Rub the margarine (or butter) together with granulated sugar and egg yolk. Add flour and baking powder. Mix by hand until you get a fairly soft dough. Divide the dough into two unequal parts (approximately in a 40 to 60 percent ratio).

Step 2

From the larger piece, form approximately 12 small circles. Roll them out and place into molds. Put a spoonful of any jam on top, then add blueberries. Sprinkle with sugar and starch.

Step 3

From the remaining dough, form the same number of small balls, roll them out, and place them on top of the cups. Press the edges with a fork. Pierce the top of the dough with a toothpick.

Step 4

Bake the baskets in the oven for half an hour at a temperature of 160 degrees. Dust with powdered sugar and decorate with fresh berries.
